The psychotherapeutic process moves at a pace that suits you and can be steered in the direction you find most beneficial, whether you wish to focus on the past, present, or future.
We often go through life without giving ourselves much time to reflect on the challenges that are thrown our way.
We all find ways of adapting to these challenges and getting on with things, though sometimes these patterns of behaviour linger long after those challenges have disappeared. We can be left with ways of behaving that are stuck in the past, still responding to obstacles that no longer exist. This can leave us feeling that something is not quite right, fueling a desire for other ways of being.
Voyages are accomplished inwardly, and the most hazardous ones, needless to say, are made without moving from the spot.
